Mission:

The Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce GAC is dedicated to advancing the interests of our local business community through proactive engagement with government entities. Our mission is to foster a favorable business environment by advocating for policies that promote economic growth, innovation, and sustainability. We strive to be a trusted voice for our members, working collaboratively with policymakers to shape legislation and regulations that enhance the competitiveness of our businesses.

Strategic Goal

1. Represent Chamber members with elected officials across levels of government.
2. Enhance economic vitality and quality of life in Solano County.
3. Develop a legislative agenda aligning with business community interests.
4. Foster partnerships for economic opportunities and community development.

Operational Guidelines:

• Membership: Open to Chamber members interested in governmental affairs.
• Meetings: Regularly scheduled, with special meetings as needed.
• Decision Making: Consensus-driven, with a focus on representing a broad spectrum of business interests.

Specific Roles:

• Research and Analysis: Investigate issues, legislation, and policies affecting the business community.
• Advocacy: Engage with policymakers and stakeholders to promote the Chamber’s legislative agenda.
• Communication: Inform Chamber members about relevant governmental issues and actions.
• Partnership Building: Collaborate with local businesses, community groups, and government entities.
